Description: This uncirculated 500,000 German mark note is a standard circulation banknote issued by the Imperial Bank as a response to hyperinflation. It is a red on white and violet note that is dated 25 July 1923, bear the signatures of Havenstein & von Glasenapp, von Grimm, Kauffmann, Schneider, Budczies, Bernhard, Seiffert, Vocke, Friedrich, Fuchs, and P. Schneider, and measures 175 mm x 80 mm. Its obverse side features two red Reichsbank seals. Its reverse side is blank. Though the note does not have a security thread, it has an alphanumeric serial number and watermark that shows a 500 M in a spiral. The note was printed by Firmendruck.
