Description: 1980 Gibson Les Paul Standard Tobacco SunburstThis is an amazing example of a rare Gibson early factory stock Les Paul StandardThis guitar is a jaw dropper in terms of original, unmolested condition! There are light scratches and a couple of small dings here and there but the pictures tell the story - incredibly minimal age and handling or wear! Fingerboard and frets have minimal play wear, great low action. The neck feels super slim, very comfortable and the truss rod functions as it should. All electronics and parts are in original perfect working condition producing tone and sustain that is mind blowing! Scratches, some worming but for a 44 year old - very well cared for. Notably and comfortably light for an 1980s Gibson: 9 llbs. 13oz.Came with Gibson chrome Nashville tune-o-matic and tailpiece but original owner put the originals in the case and switched to an ABR-1… I put them back on the guitar (pictured) and they look and work perfectly. Also comes with the best tuners Gibson ever made… the rose!Best part of this guitar is the resonant, sustain for days and legendary for a reason; Tim Shaw humbuckers.Comes in amazing bullet-proof black Gibson Gen-2 Chainsaw case pictured. Please don’t hesitate to ask any questions.
