If you are not using a CAT interface, set the your digimode software to not use CAT control or set the radio type to "None". Set your Digital Mode/PSK31 software to PTT key via VOX The interface uses the LEFT audio channel audio to trigger the VOX PTT and the RIGHT channel audio for Tx drive. Use the OS sound card level balance sliders for this sound card to have Maximum output on the LEFT audio channel. This will guarantee VOX PTT keying. Use the balance slider for the RIGHT audio channel to optimise your transmit power. Make sure you keep your transmitter out of ALC for optimum PSK31 operation.
