Description: These 3 films are among the more current movies starring Jackie Chan. They showcase him at his best acting, in addition to his fighting skills. They are all rated R, no doubt due to violence. The 2011 film Shaolin features him as an enigmatic monk of a Shaolin monastery at the center of a conflict featuring characters portrayed by the great martial arts actors Andy Lau and Nicholas Tse. The DVD disc is missing, this is blu-ray only. In the 2-disc, DVD and blu-ray, 2017 action thriller The Foreigner, Chan lets his grey hairs show as he plays a father in London in conflict with a British government official played by Pierce Brosnan. It's directed by Martin Campbell, who also directed Casino Royale and Goldeneye. His acting performance overshadows his physical skills in this one, to great effect. Lastly, in the 2018 action-packed techno-sci-fi thriller Bleeding Steel, based in spectacular modern Hong Kong, he showcases all of his talents in this imaginative movie. The digital copy of that one is expired. In the 90s there was a trend for actors and others of note, such as Neil Gaiman, Gene Roddenberry and even Alice Cooper, to lend their names and input to comic series. In 1997 Jackie Chan co-created a comic series, SpartanX and I offer a promo card for it. The 2nd card is a promo for his 1991 film Operation Condor and also again for his SpartanX comic. The promo cards cards are in card sleeves then put into a toploader. The SpartanX card is very good and the Condor card has some wear on the bottom left corner.
