Description: This Java moss is propagated in six (All low-tech) tanks that I currently run. Out of those 6 tanks, it grows best in 2: a dedicated neocarodina shrimp colony, the other, a tank with a small school of corydoras. If you purchase the Java moss listed here, chances are it came from those 2 tanks (I will include pictures of those 2 tanks in the listing). I will rinse give any purchased Java moss and do my best to rid it of any bladder snail eggs; currently however, the chances are pretty high these pesty snails will slip through the cracks. I added a small team of assassin snails (looking to immediately add other snail predators as well) into the two main supply tanks on 5-13-2024, so hopefully the chances of hitchhikers lowers every passing day. I do not run CO2 in any of my 6 tanks. None of my tanks have lights that costed more than $30. I do not feed my plants more than 4 times a month (liquid fertilizer)(flourish, flourish trace). The fish and other invertebrates within, however, are fed 2-3 times a day 6/7 days of the week Other plants that seem to thrive in my tanks: - Red Telanthra - Water Sprite - Mexican Oak Leaf - Java Fern Plants that work in 1-2 tanks but not in the others - Bacopa - very slow growth - Hornwort - Eel grass - thrives and propagates Plants that failed in my low tech set ups - Red Root Floaters - Dwarf Baby Tears Let me know if you’ve got any other questions or comments on the listing!
