Description: This offer is for an EMPTY cd Longbox by Johnny Cash of the album release called " Patriot " . This Longbox release was originally issued in 1990 on the CBS Records label with a CAT. NR . : 45384. The nostalgic CD LONGBOX was popular in record & cd stores during the early 1980's through the early 1990's . This cardboard longbox protected the condition of the cd & jewel case and provided a nice graphical marketing tool as well. The Longbox gave way, by the mid-90's, to the more simple form of shrink wrap protection. Now, only a select few titles become available in a longbox packaging for retail. These longboxes are in demand for avid fans adding to one's personal album or cd collection. You can Hang them on a Wall or Place them on a Shelf for Decor of your Office , Dorm Room , or Entertainment Area of your house. Many Collectors & Avid Fans today place and store their own cd's back inside the Longbox as well. This Empty longbox measures 5 3/4" w X 12 1/2" h X 1/2" d . The cd was removed from the bottom of the longbox a number of years ago. The condition of this empty longbox is in good condition - with the original shrink wrap still intact - keeping the dimensional integrity. This longbox has Never been flattened or removed from its original shrink wrap . This longbox was cut open on the back side at the very bottom and the bottom flaps were opened somewhat nicely - to remove the cd a number of years ago. The back side bottom flap has a small portion still attached to the front side bottom flap. There is a very small crease and tear near the bottom-left of the front side bottom flap. The small surface tear can be mended well with some gluing. right corner. The small tear could be seen in front side viewing , but would not be too distracting. There is some light compression creasing to the left spine side at the lower-left bottom. The compression creasing to the spine side cause considerable split seam to the back side and some light split seam to the front side. The front side split seam is not too distracting or noticeable for front side viewing. Please see the enclosed pic. Again, this longbox is empty and No CD is Included with this purchase .
