Description: Johnson Brothers, England discontinued ORMSBY Pattern consists of a white ground porcelain with a pink roses, green & tan border with gold accents. This piece is their round covered serving / vegetable bowl with two side handles and matching pattern lid. Approximate measurements : 9 1/4" diameter bowl with a 2 3/4" depth. Height, including the lid, is about 5". Both the bowl and the lid very clean and unused, however, there is crazing throughout which might be expected. The floral band continues to be clear & colorful. Very minimal loss or wear of the gold ( age appropriate ). Please note: Unnoticed at the Estate Sale where purchased, and upon very close inspection when photographing, One of the handles was re - glued ( a very good job, I must say ). Please look at photo.
