This Auction is a Buy It Now so you can enjoy it now!----------------------------------------------------------------------- Item Description: Hello my friends and welcome, Here we have an Extra Large and beautiful chunk of meerschaum with all original instructions, box, extra small piece of meerschaum and wax pieces, I consider this Peterson kit to be one of the best you will ever find and would be an exceptional addition to your collection either to show or carve. Yes here it is, an ultra rare "Kapp & Peterson of Dublin Ireland" as this is printed right on the front of the box in the left corner and also on the the original instruction booklet that is included with this set, many other sets are not "Peterson" sets as they were made for other companies but this set is for all you Peter collectors out there as you can see this is a "Peterson" branded set. You will have a hard time finding another one of these sets and this one has everything in it that came with it from the Kapp & Peterson factory including the extra piece of Meerschaum and the wax pieces for the finishing touch. Included is the original instructions that show you exactly what to do and how to carve your beautiful Peterson meerschaum bent pipe into a work of art, Peterson always insisted on having the best chances of meerschaum in these kits along with the best mortise and tenon, as you can see in this kit the tenon and mortise are like they are in briar pipes and fits smoothly and tight and perfect just like it should, other kits out there designed for other pipe makers were not made with the mortise and tenon like the Peterson kits were made. The box shows a little wear but still strong and in very nice shape with no ripped corners or taped corners so it is very solid and it has done it's job over the years protecting it's contents for many decades that this set has been around.On the left end of the box you can also see where PETERSON was in gold and the entire bottom box is gold on the outside this is how you can tell it is original from the Peterson factory. The meerschaum is an incredible piece and super solid as a rock and you can see how Peterson's chunk of meerschaum is compared to that of other kits, Peterson never had smooth pieces of Meerschaum in their kits as they always had the unique rough sides like "no one else" When you get finished carving it if you decide to it will be outstanding and you will have a pipe you can be proud of and it will last a lifetime. This extra large chunk of meerschaum with the stem together weigh 125.5 grams WOW! Thank you all very much for looking, I greatly appreciate it.
