Description: Vintage Athol bench vise, model 614 1/2. This is in very nice shape with no damage or repairs. The jaws are 4.5" wide and in very nice shape as shown. This works perfectly, turns smoothly, and the jaws align nicely as seen in the pictures. It is 9" tall, 19.5" deep when closed, and opens about 7.5" when the sliding portion is flush with the rear of the vise as seen in the next to last picture. It locks good and tight with a 3 hole mounting base and weighs about 65 pounds. The only signs of wear are on the front side of the sliding jaw section and are shallow marks which could easily be filled and painted over and the handle has a very slight bend in it that I have not attempted to straighten.
