Description: This listing is for one (1) “Liberty Blue Historic Colonial Series Five Piece Place Setting”. The five (5) piece set consists of:(1) Independence Hall Dinner Plate, 9.7/8”(1) Paul Revere Flat Cup and (1) Old North Church Saucer Height: 2.5/8“, Width: 3 1/2(1) Monticello Bread Plate, 5.7/8”(1) Betsy Ross Fruit/Dessert Bowl, 5”In very good condition, this five piece place setting was gently used for several years and then put into clean storage by the early 1980s. Each piece shows normal signs of use and aging; crazing, discoloration and normal surface wear, but overall they are in very good shape for their age. Please note: on the bottom of the cup it looks like there may be a small chip, but it feels/looks like it was glazed over in production - not too sure, but wanted to point it out. The set comes from a very clean, smoke and pet-free environment. Please enlarge and review photos closely. Sold as pictured. Blue and white ironstone dinnerware has been collected for many years and the introduction of the Liberty Blue pattern in 1975 by Enoch Wedgwood of England, with its fifteen different historic scenes of colonial America, generated huge interest. Grocery stores such as A&P and Grand Union sold different pieces each week with a minimum in-store grocery purchase. The Liberty Blue promotion coincided with America's Bicentennial celebration in 1976 and by 1977 you could no longer purchase this patriotic tableware. Please note: this listing is for one (1) “Liberty Blue Historic Colonial Series Five Piece Place Setting”. USPS shipping, tracking and insurance is included. Thanks for stopping by! Before placing a bid or purchasing an item, please be sure to read the following:Condition: Items listed in my store as “vintage/estate sale items” have been well cared for over the years. However, because these items are vintage/used, unless noted, they may not be in pristine/perfect condition. I rate each item’s condition on a fair to mint scale. Condition is subjective, so please review pictures carefully and feel free to ask questions. All items are sold as is-no returns accepted.SHIPPING: I do my best to ensure packages arrive to my customers as quickly as possible. Please understand that certain factors beyond my control may extend shipping time: weather, high volume/holiday postal traffic, and the actions of shipping companies such as the USPS shipping slow down. I offer free shipping to the lower 48 states, and I ship within 2 business days of payment - sometimes quicker if possible. I do not ship to P.O. Boxes. Please provide a physical address when placing your order.BEST OFFER: I don’t list items in my store as “best offer” as I include free shipping on everything I sell. If I were selling this item at a flea market, garage, or tag sale, I would be happy to reduce the price by a few dollars, but unfortunately I have to deal with the middleman - USPS and eBay. Not only do I pay a monthly store subscription fee, additionally eBay takes the total sale price of an item, adds state sales tax, and then charges a transaction fee of approximately 15%. On top of that they charge a “successful transaction fee” of forty cents. From what’s left I pay for shipping. Long story short, when the dust settles, there’s not much left from the sale.INTERNATIONAL SALES: For shipping outside of the continental USA; I only use eBay's Global Shipping Program. Items bound for an international address are shipped to an eBay global destination center and then sent to its global destination. International customers are responsible for all duties and taxes. Please proceed to check out in order to calculate costs for shipping the item to your country. Messages regarding eBay's Global Shipping Program must be directed at eBay exclusively. DAMAGE: In the unlikely event an item is damaged in transit, please save the item, box, all shipping materials, and contact me via eBay email as soon as possible. I will require detailed pictures of the item, box, shipping materials, and mailing label before a claim can be filed/settled. Please do not discard the damaged item, box or packing materials as the postal carrier may require it as proof of damage. As soon as the claim is settled you will be notified that it is okay to discard the damaged item. In some instances I may ask that the damaged item be returned to me before a refund can be issued. Sorry, but no refund will be issued for the damaged item if you do not follow these instructions.RECYCLING: I do my best to use recycled shipping materials as much as possible. Although my packages may not look “pretty”, everything I use to ship items to my customers is sturdy and clean. After you are through with the packaging, please consider recycling as wellFeedback: Unfortunately most people do not leave feedback. However, I am more than happy to leave feedback as soon as feedback is received. Thanks again for shopping by!
