Description: Hello and thanks for looking! This is a very clean Ludwig Super Sensitive snare drum. I always wanted one, and in fact bought two, to build this one drum. So, the best parts of two donor drums went into this build. I'm just not using it, so I'm passing it along for someone new to enjoy. Parts are not perfect; nothing has been re-plated or otherwise altered from factory delivery. All pieces were scrubbed clean and waxed to prevent future corrosion, and it shows exceptionally well. Close inspection will find imperfections, but even from 12" this presents exceptionally well, as the photos show. Snare wires are modern Taiwan replacements, but they are available from Ludwig if you wanted. It sounds quite good with these "inferior" wires and for all I know the current Ludwig branded ones are also from Taiwan... I think Puresound makes a replacement wire set for this drum as well.
