I don't believe in using a number grade system - to me they are mostly utilized as a method to be ambiguous about exact condition and/or individual imperfections - but I do attempt to describe anything other than minor cover shelf-scuffing/scratching in detail. Indent around it, with a small ding where it meets each cover. **Photo#6: -Front cover top edge: Little if any shelf-wear.-Outer corner: Tiny indent/scuff/bend, goes thru ~1/3 pages as a light bend mostly. **Photo#7:-Front cover bottom edge: Light shelf-scuffing along it. Two light ~1" creases/~2"depressions starting adjacent the edge, near its middle (photo#10 w/illumination).-Outer corner: Small crease/scuff/bend, goes thru ~1/2 pages mostly as a light bend. Light cover lift around corner. **Photo#8: -Back cover top edge: 2 tiny scuff spread around its middle, otherwise light if any shelf-wear.-Outer corner: Small scuff/bend, goes lightly thru ~10 pages. **Photo#9:-Back cover bottom edge: Small scuff/ding towards spine corner, shows lightly on ~30 pages. Otherwise, light if any shelf-scuffing.-Outer corner: Small crease/scuff/bend, goes thru ~1/3 pages as a light bend. **Additionally: Front cover two ~3" horizontal scratches near its page edge's middle, with a few surrounding small ones. Two light nearby ~1" indents/depressions (photo#10 w/illumination). Tiny spine edge indent near its middle.Back cover a patch of light scratches near its bottom edge. ~4 small/light creases/indents/depressions near cover's center, with a small surrounding patch of scratches (photo#11 w/illumination, two of the indents show lightly on ~10 pages).
