Description: This pair of remarkably nice chemist medicine bottles (or apothecary jars) are a great example of combining utility with beauty. They are approximately 8 inches tall including the stoppers, and the bottoms are marked H. M. Co. on the bottom, indicating an age of around 1900-10. The measure approximately 2.75 inches square at the base. The warm brown color was meant to protect the contents from sunlight. There is a layer of clear glass over the lettering, which appears to be hand lettered, so they can't be mixed up or switched with other chemicals. They are very smooth to the touch are in very good condition without chips, cracks, dings, flakes, etc. If you're wondering what the bottles held, we're not 100% certain, but Urolithia appears to have something to do with kidney or bladder stones and Elix. Bromid. Tri. appears to be a treatment for epilepsy. These would look great in a bathroom, kitchen or office, especially with light behind them. We pack securely and ship promptly. All shipping includes tracking.
