Description: Pair of Vintage Nisaburo Ito "Gold Horse" Japanese Woodblock Prints in Lacquered Wood Frames for Takashimaya department stores. These were made and sold mid century and have nicely made wood frames covered in black lacquer. The prints are held in the frames with a unique set of wooden tabs. The mattes are slightly yellowed from age and one has two small dark spots in the corner. Photos were taken with the glass removed but both come with good, clean glass over the prints. Artist signature "Nisaburo" and Uchida seal on the lower-left corner of the image. Paper size: 17 5/8 inches by 11 1/2 inches (44.5 x 29.5 cm) Image size: 15 3/4 inches by 10 5/8 inches (40 x 27 cm) Frame Size 19 7/8 inches by 14 1/2 inches ( 50.5 x 36.8 cm) We are a small business that curates vintage & unique finds!
