This process creates a very consistent bore, and PDI states that this gives the barrel a tolerance of +0.002mm. The material is 304 Stainless Steel. Steel has superior corrosion resistance over brass barrels. Additionally, PDI barrels are very well known for their straightness and quality control.This barrel is 6.01, which optimizes air efficiency. Since the 6.01 bore is far tighter than the industry standard 6.08, using high quality and consistently made BB's is of heightened importance.
