There are some gubby spots from time , however there are no signs of use on this textile ~ it's astoundingly fresh! This stunning Aubusson is so amazingly is finely hand woven using wool, cotton and silk. The scene is of a fox and a chicken A very very fine example. This textile was once tacked to the back of a French chair. Today it would be lovely for the same, or a pillow made or even framing would be wonderful ( please see condition details below) ~*~ MEASUREMENTS : This textile measures approx. 25 inches by 26 inches ~ CONDITION : This panel is in as found, not freshly laundered condition ~ There are some dirty marks Signs of time and use are often inherent in these wonderful antique fabrics, which is what makes them unique and soulful.
