RARE Adventures of Rocky & Bullwinkle FEARLESS LEADER Figure Hamilton Toy SAMPLE

Description: This is a VERY RARE PRE-PRODUCTION SAMPLE of The Adventures of Rocky and Bullwinkle FEARLESS LEADER movie figure from Hamilton Toy. The 11"-12" item is based on the character from the live-action animation movie and comes boxed. It was made for stores' merchandising departments to determine their interest in selling the item. However, I can not find any record of it being released into production. I have never seen another sample pre-production one like this. This sample was manufactured in 2000 for Universal Studios by Hamilton Toy. This came from the merchandising department of Meijer stores in Grand Rapids, Michigan. I acquired it in June, 2000, and have had it stored away since then. It has never been displayed. There are many smaller figures from this movie released by Just Toys, and I have found some different 12" ones from Yamato Toys, which all have regular production bar codes on them. You can tell from the packaging that it is a sample. There is no barcode. Just a box where it would be located. There are cut mark errors (see close-up of window cut-out in lower right corner of window). The printing peals off of the box easily. The printing smears easily when it gets drops of water on it as the pictures show. Some sort of water soluable clear coating over the colored printing. Somebody from the store must have splashed some coffee on it. HaHa. I have included many pictures to show the flaws, including a little warping on the sides and back that I pointed to. I welcome requests for more pictures or questions. It is a must-have for collectors of animation merchandise and fans of the franchise. I have 2 other different 12" samples made by Hamilton Toy for this movie that I will also be listing. Both are different versions of Natasha Fatale (played by Rene Russo in the movie).
