Description: Seller: Alley-Antiques DESCRIPTION: Antique Clocks. This is an RARE old antique Seth Thomas Large Square Face Mission Oak Regulator Wall clock. Being sold AS-IS. Comes with key(key works but was repaired) and pendulum (not sure if original pendulum or not). Selling as I found it. 2 gears and pendulum holder need to be put back in place. I can get them in place but they don't stay. Possibly need brass plates tightened. Might need a tiny brass collar to fit inside hole to hold 1 gear( last pick shows hole without collar and a hole with collar above in same pick). Spring looks good. The clock hands are original. The clock hands might need a special tool to fit tight in place( the hands are loose). The clock body is solid oak and in very good shape. The hook for holding front top door is in place and fine. Hinges look good to me. The front metal plate with clock numbers is original with some light wear to numbers ( most notable number 10). Upper and lower glass in good shape. Don't know if wood backing is original or not, but is old. This is a RARE Seth Thomas clock. It has great possibilities. Well worth restoring the movement (might be an easy fix for an expert). The "bones" are good and when running again this will be a beautiful rare wall clock. The Seth Thomas large square Mission style oak wall regulator is not easy to find and this has nice possibilities. Selling AS-IS. Not working with 3 loose gears as pictured . Guaranteed old and NOT a reproduction. Overall it is about 21" tall. The square front is about 14 1/8". Priced to sell. Look at pics as they are considered part of the description.
