Description: This rare and vintage press pin was made for the World Series Baseball Game in 1955. The pin features the Cleveland Indians and shows a red faced Indian (red enamel) with a white feather sticking out from his head with 'Press' written on it. The head is set inside a large letter 'C' in dark blue enamel with the wording 'Cleveland World Series 1955'. No manufacturers name is shown on the back. From my research this is called a 'Phantom' pin due to the fact that the 'Indians' did not win the World Series in 1955 but the pins were made 'just in case'. Threaded post is attached to the back but no original screw button. There is a yellow push on button attached. Pin measures 1-1/8" wide x 7/8" tall.
