Reversbile, (let us know if you need it set for Left or Right and we will reverse it before we ship it). Check our Hand of Doors chart to let us know. Dimensions as follows: The bright brass face on this 1700 has a length of 9 1/8" by 1 1/4" and the face is 3/16" thick brass. The set functions perfectly.The backset is 3". The lock has accommodation for a thumb turn as it has a cam of 3/16" located under the cylinder for the insertion of the thumb turn post from the interior backplate. Screws are on 8 1/4" centers. The box itself measures 4" deep from the front edge of the brass cylinder to the back of box and it measures 6 3/4" top to bottom. Fantastic and not easy to find in this condition. If you are replacing a 1700 you likely already have the correct strikeplate, but if you need a strikeplate, contact us and we can very likely fabricate one for this set if we do not have one in stock.
