The airship was built at the Goodyear Zepplin Airdock in Ohio in 1933. In 1935, the airship was caught in a storm in California and crashed. It marked the end of the Navy's experimentation with airships. Postcard is a colorized reprint photo and part of a postcard series on World War II.
