Description: Used original green Ramshorn 5 speed chainguard, original paint and screen. Measures approximately 14 inches between mounting bracket holes. This is a well used below average condition guard with plenty of nicks, chips, scrapes, paint loss areas as you can see, and scratches as shown in the photos, but it is a solid original guard. Chrome on top has wear (see second photo), rust, worn off chrome type scratches but shines fairly well. There is a small ding/dent on the green face by the Ramshorn logo. I tried to show this in the last photos but this is small and is felt more than seen. Back has rust as shown like a lot of these used 40-50 year old guards have, but is not seen much when mounted as it is the back of the guard and under the top lip really not seen when mounted. No significant dents viewed except by the Ramshorn graphic as described above, but there is no warranties made regarding this is the only ding, I may have missed something although I do look pretty closely at these guards before listing them. Rear bracket has rust on it as shown and a little wiggle to it as a lot of these used guard brackets loosen up in time and wear. Wiggle or not they all seem to tighten up to work fine when installed. Put this on a used/worn fair to average condition original paint green 5 speed Fastback Ramshorn bike, should look great. same guard as a 5 speed Krate, only paint and screen are changed. Original paint guards in my opinion seem to look better on used average condition/paint bikes than a repainted guard which in many cases depending on bike does not match up well with the original paint.
