Description: Set of Japanese Invasion Money (JIM) for the Philippines, 100 Pesos, with block #10, #11, and #12. This is a set of 3 x 100 Pesos notes, with 3 different block numbers. There is a total of 3 notes, which I am selling as a single set. According to my records, the 100 Pesos block numbers range from 1 to 36. The hard to find numbers are 15, 20, 21, and 25. All of these notes have the JAPWANCAP (Japanese War Notes Claimants Association of the Philippines) stamp on them. In 1967, this Philippine organization made a very serious attempt to obtain funds from the United States for redemption of millions of Pesos in Japanese occupation currency. Notes with JAPWANCAP had a number of different stampings. These notes have about uncirculated and show minimal handling marks. However, #12 has a very noticeable center and corner fold. All notes are crisp! Please view the photos to see for yourself. I have listed other JIM notes.
