WHAT DOES IT SOUND LIKE? -The Pearly Gates were originally designed as a recreation of the pickups in a '59 Les Paul Standard that belongs to Billy Gibbons of ZZ Top. The Pearly Gates have a sweet, but slightly rude tone with great sustain and a bright top end that makes the harmonics jump out of a guitar. Hand wired with the highest quality parts and cleanest solder connections. This wiring harness will give you the clearest signal possible with even and balanced volume/tone roll off. -4 x matched CTS 500k pots. Long shaft, 3/8" wide bushing, 3/4" long. (CTS makes the highest quality potentiometers with consistant and reliable readings). -2 volume 2 tone-2 x .047mfd Orange Drop capacitors (produces a smooth and even treble roll off when cutting back on the tone controls)-Vintage style pull back cloth wire (7 strand 22 gauge wire for the strongest grounding connection)-Custom aluminum shield plate to insure proper grounding and noise reduction-Switchcraft short 3 way toggle switch prewired with vintage style braided wire black tip.
