Description: Solid oak wood school chair made by Southern Desk Company Hickory Inc. with natural golden oak color original finish. Very good condition, with some aging/use signs, sturdy and usable. Review photos for details. It is around 75 or more years old. Measurements are 32" tall at the back, 17" tall at the high point of the seat, 16 1/2" tall at the seats leg contour, 18" at the widest point of the seat and tapers to 16 1/2" at the back of the seat's width. Two 7/8" thick contoured back rest, top one is 4" wide, the other is 2 3/4" wide. Rounded corners2" 1 1/8" back leg measurement1 3/4" x 1/34" front legs Mid-century elementary school. No major wear to the finish, it has felt pads on the bottom of the legs with the original three metal caps, one metal cap is missing and has been leveled with an extra felt pad floor protector.
