Description: Superb Estate Antique Edwardian Silver and Opal Necklace. A stunning handmade piece dating to the early 20th century, on original chain with barrel clasp. Set with a beautiful opal of a good size cut en cobochon. Size: Chain 16 inches, pendant 2 1/4 inches, stone 10/16 x 7/16 inch Composition: Pendant unmarked but tested for silver, chain stamped 'silver' on clasp. Natural opal. Age: c. 1900 - 1910 Condition: Very good for its age, a couple of minor nibbles to the edge of the stone as pictured but scarcely noticeable.
