Description: Surreal Nun Painting Rescued Art Unknown Artist Listed for auction and Buy Now, a magnificent acrylic painting by an unknown artist. This painting isn't signed, dated, or named. I'll let the painting do the talking. I couldn't leave this piece behind. I purchased this in hopes that the right person will add it to their collection. Hopefully, someone with the means to care for, restore, and maintain this absolutely amazing sureal painting. I've temporarily named it "Sister Luck." Please read my mission at the end of this description. I hope to make, at the very least, a part-time living doing this. I've set the Buy Now at this price for this would be enough to get me started at rescuing art like this painting from secondhand stores and thrift shops. This would allow me to purchase a decent building, install controlled climate, and fund trips around my tristate. It'll leave me enough to also start a nestegg to travel further, even across the country. 20% of proceeds will be donated to the NC Arts Disaster Relief Fund. These funds are disbursed to artists and art organizations that have been impacted by Huricane Helene in and around North Caroline, a state that was devastated by the hurricane. Numerous times, I've encountered amazing art pieces made by the skillful hand of an unknown artist or a nonfamous artist. A lot of these pieces are just as awe-inspiring as any famous artist. I made a decision a few months ago that I will no longer leave these forgotten pieces of art behind after witnessing two teenagers deface a beautiful painting. It's unfortunate that art like this painting ends up in a donation box for whatever reason. So rather than leave them behind, I'm going to purchase them and get as many pieces into the hands of those who appreciate all aspects of art rather than just a famous name. There are so many masterpieces the world has never seen. I hope to make a living from this one day, but most importantly, I hope to have the funds to rescue as much art as possible. 20% of each sell will be donated to an art foundation that is dedicated to saving art, preserving art culture, and providing funds to artist in times if crisis, including artist with children that need assistance to continue what they do.
