The single "Please Please Me" became a hit and the band's popularity began to increase in the UK.The school concert on April 4, 1963 was made possible by David Moores, a student at the school, who wrote a letter to the Beatles. It was recorded by John Bloomfield, a 15-year-old schoolboy at the time, and was kept for 60 years (now in the British Library).It was brought to the BBC last month and only parts of four songs were aired: "I Saw Her Standing There," "Too Much Monkey Business," "Memphis, Tennessee" and "Please Please Me."And now the entire 60 minutes is here.
