This issue had a full color cover and was meant to showcase how MAD writer Tom Koch wrote, drafted, and consulted with the MAD Editors. The actual MAD Magazine scripts reprinted here should have been in The Journal of MADness #8 following the Tom Koch Interview but the cost was prohibitive.When subscribers found out that JoM #8 was intended to be 40 pages longer they wanted that information, I decided to produce a supplemental edition. Offered for sale are exactly 20 copies that were never assembled and forgotten in a box. (I thought they were all gone. That explains why I only had 2 in my archives. I am keeping 2 of these and offering the other 18 for sale. These are from June 2000 and only the first flat had to be recopied because of folding and damage. Flat one is the four page 11x17 that contains the masthead. I made one secret change to this plate to make it possible to identify that this one page was a replica.) These ain't CHEAP!
