Description: This volume of the classic work or spirituality has two main features. First this hardcover edition has wood cut illustrations from many old sources. Second, it starts with an introduction by Dorothy Day, a spiritual and social leader of the 20th century. The dust jacket is clean but does have four minor tears at the edges as you can see in the pictures attached. The only writing inside the book is on the fly leaf with two names of those who’ve gone before you even having this edition. Yes you can get a cheaper version and you can probably read the whole thing as a PDF online. But the addition of the illustrations and the introduction by Dorothy Day make this of a more valuable addition to your bookshelf. I am a retired teacher/professor/priest who is trying to find a good home for many of the books on my shelves now that I am no longer professionally active. Please consider adopting this volume and taking it home with you. Thanks.
