The Book is signed on the first page by Margery Phillips ~ "Dramatics". This may be a class project at the time or a loved hobby. I think by looking at the collection she was a great lover of the Theater. The scrapbook is loaded with mostly 1920's newspaper & magazine clippings pertaining to all thing's theater in the 20's. Each article or picture was carefully cut from the publication and glued to a lined looseleaf page in the book. the book was then divided into 4 sections. The first section pertained to all things stage settings, costumes, and makeup."The next section is "Reviews of Plays" ~ All Plays from the late 1920's.The Next section you will love, it's titled, " Pictures of famous Actors. Probably 100 pictures or more.The Last Section is Miscellaneous Section has a variety of articles. There is only one signature in the book. I cannot make out who it is, but it is from someone encouraging the creator of the scrapbook to keep adding to the book and someday she may become a theater critic. I'm sure that was her dream. Maybe she was.
