Both century-old prescriptions were written by Olivier Caza, MD., of Skowhegan, Maine. G.R. FOGG, Druggist & Apothecary, 86 Water Street, Skowhegan, Maine, is preprinted in the lower left corner of the prescription form. #1: The century-old prescription for ERGOT is dated August 10, 1918 (handwritten in black ink, and stamped in faint/light purple ink), and stamped with the serial number 78427. (LSD is derived from Ergot alkaloids.) #2: The century-old prescription for LAUDANUM (Tincture of Opium) was written on September 8, 1918 (handwritten in pencil), and filled on September 9, 1918 (stamped with purple ink), and stamped with the serial number 78738. This prescription also includes Chloroforme, Aconite and Belladonna. These antique scrips are framed and ready for display.
