This is a practical, durable kit for building your own throttle cable for a custom project, if you can no longer find cables for your bike, or if you just feel like you can do it better yourself. One end of the throttle wire is fitted with a carb nipple (nominally 3mm dia x 3mm). The opposite end will need to be cut to length and the required nipple soldered into place. The ferrules and adjusters are a snug fit. They may be bonded into place if preferred, or you can use a center punch to make a small indention in the side. You will need a basic soldering kit and basic soldering skills to solder the nipple into place. How is Venhill better?
