VINTAGE 1940's HOLMES 16mm FILM PROJECTOR, TYPE 12, U.S. NAVY TYPE H w/ MANUAL

Description: From my husband's vintage projector collection is this very nice HOLMES Type 12 UNITED STATES NAVY Type H, 16mm film projector. This is a tested and working (see video provided) WW II era machine that according to notes left by him, is complete and mostly original (has had a lamp reflector replacement and minor amp work). Even includes the original issued USN instruction manual. He was in the projector service and repair business for about 40 years and has amassed a large collection of 16mm projectors and parts including such brands as EIKI, HOKUSHIN, APOLLO, ELMO, BELL AND HOWELL, VICTOR, HOLMES and RCA. There are several working projectors and many parts available, so please contact me if anything is of interest to you. Feel free to ask any questions as I will do my best to answer them. This machine is heavy and I mean heavy. The projector/amp case is 60 lbs and the speaker case is another 25 lbs, all without packaging. Will be shipped in two separate packages. The shipping cost for the speaker case is only an estimate and will be handled through the "handling cost" option (as there is no other way). Therefore, you'll need to contact me first for the most accurate combined quote. Otherwise, I will gladly offer you a partial refund after the sale for the overage. The shipping quote you are seeing is the actual cost of package #1 (projector case) with insurance plus a HIGH estimate for package #2 (speaker case) with insurance, based on shipping from Rhode Island to California. This estimate consists of a base rate of $55 plus insurance for both packages. Your actual cost for total shipping could be significantly less.
