Vintage 80s Thunderbirds Are Go! T Shirt. Cartoon/Team America

Description: Thunderbirds Are Go! was a British television series released in 1964 and ran for 2 seasons thru 1966. It was created by husband and wife Gerry and Sylvia Anderson. The animation style was quite original and groundbreaking for that time. It was a process of using electronic marionettes called Supermarionation. This technology and puppet style has influenced many other shows like Fireball XL5 and even the South Park Boys when they made Team America: World Police. This shirt isn't that old. It's from 1981 which shows the lasting legacy of the original program. There have been a few versions of this show over the years including a new version that ran between 2015 and 2020. This one is in an amazing size too. 21 x 26.5. Super clean and ready to wear for all you obscure animation nerds. DM for details/prices if you're interested This is an old shirt.
