Description: Although this works great, I recommend rewiring for safety because of its age. It takes 3 bulbs. It's heavy and made of possibly cast iron. The shade sits on the round metal holder. The central rod is adjustable to the desired height. You have to fiddle with the shade to get it set on the holder so it sits straight. On the shortest setting, the whole piece is 15.5" tall and 11" across. There is a central jadeite disc on the base that's about 2" across. The switch is on the base.
