Description: A sweet miniature Chinese porcelain vase in yellow Famille Jaune style. This is a vintage export piece likely designed as a souvenir or doll toy and fashioned like Peranakan Chinese porcelain. This little mold produced vase is fully hand painted and has glaze drips and some messily applied turquoise glaze on the interior lip of the vase. The underside has a red China stamp. The vase measures 3-1/2" H x 2" W x 1-1/4" D and the opening is 1-3/4" L x 1-1/4" W. (A-11) CONDITION: THE VASE IS IN GOOD VINTAGE CONDITION. THERE ARE FLUBS AND DRIPS IN THE GREEN GLAZE AROUND THE UPPER BAND ON THE NECK OF THE VASE. ONLY A PARTIAL AREA OF THE INSIDE LIP OF THE VASE IS PAINTED WITH A SHEER TURQUOISE GLAZE THAT IS APPLIED MESSILY AND AREAS OF WHITE BISQUE PORCELAIN UNDERNEATH CAN BE SEEN OR IS UNCOVERED BY GLAZE. THERE IS A SMALL GLAZE MISS NEAR THE BASE OF THE VASE AS WELL. THESE FLUBS ARE NATURAL TO THE MANUFACTURING AND ARE NOT FROM AGE OR USE. REFER TO LISTING PHOTOS FOR DETAILS.
