Description: Groupe Marcelle’s roots go back to 1874 in Chicago when C.W. Beggs created the Marcelle product line. In 1933, it was purchased by Dr. Phil Blazer, an allergist who created a pioneering range of skin care products. The Marcelle line was sold and further expanded over the years with Victor Cape, a Montreal pharmacist, becoming the Canadian distributor in 1949. In 1973 Victor and his son Michael Cape purchased the worldwide distribution and manufacturing rights to the products. Today, David Cape is the third generation and current CEO of Groupe Marcelle. This box of Marcelle Face Powder Box is from the 1940’s time period. It remains sealed on the inside with original powder. The top and sides of the box are in mint condition. All of the sides are the same as the one photographed. The bottom has a bit of wear, as you might expect from a box of this age. Measurements: Length: 3.25” Width: 2.5” Height: 1”
