Description: Gents 1950s 80 Micron gold Filled Longines wrist watch. Ref : 003 The watch has a 19-jewel automatic movement, calibre 22AS, which is working nicely. The movement is fully signed with the Longines name and the serial number 9028174 which dates it back to 1953. In 1946, the 22A was the first automatic movement manufactured by Longines, the 22AS was a centre seconds variant. The watch measures 33.5mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is 80 Micron gold filled and stamped inside the lug. The front of the case and case back is in very good condition. The case back stamped Longines and case number.The winding crown is a later replacement. The watch is absolutely mint condition of his age. The lens is in good condition. The signed dial has been professionally re-finished to a high standard.
