Description: Came across these magazine during recent clean out. This lovely magazine is designed to encourage the soldiers who were fighting the battles of WW2, by way of having loved ones at home help supply some much needed clothing items. I am sure it encouraged the recipients of these items knowing the home team was thinking of them. I don't knit but I imagine all the pages dedicated to specific items are just as usable today as back then. If you love to knit I am sure this will be something you can use and keep for posterity. All pages intact, and obviously the normal wear of a 80+ year old magazine.
