Description: This interesting pipe came in a lot. I had to refurbish it and loosen the tar in order to separate the bowl and completely clean it to the condition now seen in the photos. The bowl is briar and has been reemed and salt/alcohol treated. The seal between the press-fit bowl and lower chamber (I think it is a cork type material) in perfect working order without leaks. This was Medico's version of removable pipe bowls back in the era of the Falcon, Koolsmoke and Kirsten pipes. You gotta love the ad they had out in the March 1955 edition of Popular Mechanics magazine shown here below. It is in nice shape. Just see photos. I have cleaned/restored the pipe completely, micromeshed the acrylic and reamed/alcohol salt bathed the bowl. This can be smoked upon receipt as are all pipes I sell here. I won’t sell something that I would not smoke myself. Stinger and stem in excellent shape with the tooth chatter seen. A great "techie" pipe (LOL) from back in the day when adds said stuff like "More Doctors Smoke Camels Than Any Other Cigarette" (look those adds up, hysterical). I take all reasonable offers. I wouldn’t bet the farm on the existence of hard evidence to back up any of these claims – “Smokes 35 degrees cooler!”. “Best Smoking Pipe!”. “No Goo!
