Description: A vintage Mexican folk art Tree of life attributed to Heron Martinez Mendoza, Acatlan, Puebla. Brown burnished clay with two (mini) candle holders. I suppose it's a donkey at the base - it seems to have horns so perhaps a kind of long necked cow - all supporting flowers, leaves, fruit and two small birds...exact age unknown - estimated 1970sapproximately 6" high x 6.5" at the widest part & around 3.5" deep. very good vintage condition - No significant damage but there's one flower missing on the right as you look.
