Description: This is an original vintage metal "Sanford's Marker King Size" permanent marker with a red plastic cap. With the cap on, the marker measures 5 3/8 inches long. The ink has the classic pungent marker ink smell. While the marker still does write, as shown in my final photo, please note that this marker is being sold as a collectible, NOT as a functional product; it could easily be near or at the end of its functional life and could cease to write at any time. Besides having an unknown--and potentially low--amount of usable ink, the marker is in fair/good cosmetic condition. The plastic cap goes on and off with no trouble, and both the cap and metal tube have moderate wear, lending a nice vintage patina to the marker; this wear is primarily in the form of small contact marks--tiny chips, scratches, nicks, and red ink stains. The felt tip is firm but has a little bit of frizz, and there is red ink staining below the tip.
