Description: For sale is a vintage Vostok Komandirskie Russian tanker watch. I'm not sure how old it is, but I purchased it in Russia in 1995. I was told it was a Soviet-era watch. However, at the bottom of the dial, Сделано в России translates to "Made in Russia," so this may have actually been made after the fall of the Soviet Union. 17 jewels with date. It is in good condition and keeps fairly good time. It will gain about a minute every two days, so you would probably want to adjust the time when you wind it. Winding is done by unscrewing the crown on the right and pulling out the stem to engage the winding mechanism. Pulling out the stem a little farther will allow you to set the time and date.
