Description: A Vintage wood foundry mold that can tell some history. It is Identifiable by original aluminum plates on the spokes that gives the company name, plant locations and the mold number. That number is also stamped into the wood on the extra spoke. Started in 1880 and by the 1920's Linkbelt Machery Co. was in 4 locations, Chicago, Indianapolis, Philadelphia and San Francisco. San Francisco is not on the mold like all the other cities and so I assume it was made before or during the 1920's. Nice original condition for 100 years old. Approximately 20" in diameter.
