Description: This is a wooden pencil box with a printed lithograph picture on the top with Victorian children eating fruit and playing in an outdoor scene. This box is likely from the 1880-1895 as the owner was born in 1875 and likely used this pencil box for school during his early school years. Included inside the box is a pencil sharpening stone in the compartment it fits in and metal writing instrument that is both a pencil and ink pen with nib. The box at one time locked, but there no longer is a key for it. This came from Pennsylvania. The box measures 8" X 2 1/4" X 1 1/2". Please ask questions.
