Description: Vtg PMC Texas Ware Melamine Purple Lavender Rose Floral 55-pc Dinner Set MCM '67 A great set of vintage 1967 Melamine dishes made by Texas Ware. Purple (lavender) roses with pink florals and brown and tan leaves are featured on the dinner plates. The other pieces in the set are solid purple and solid white which coordinate nicely and really show off the plates. This is a complete serving for 6 with many extras. These lightweight dishes are virtually unbreakable, which makes them perfect for an rv or picnic basket, and they would look fabulous in a retro, MCM, or purple themed kitchen. These are pre-owned and vintage so there is some light wear from utensils and everyday use on most of the pieces. The condition of each item is noted below. The most obvious flaws are noted and also have photographs. Please see and zoom in on the photos for a closer visual description. DINNER PLATES - 9 All have utensil surface scratches and everyday wear. Three of them have microwave damage and one of the 3 has a chip on the back. IT IS ADVISABLE TO NOT PUT MELAMINE DISHES IN THE MICROWAVE...they do not like it! Plates are embossed with the Texas Ware logo and each has one of these numbers embossed with the 1st letter being in the logo: C G3, M G3, S G3, X G3, R G3, D G3, W G3. DESSERT PLATES - 14 Surface scratches from utensils and everyday use. One has some faded spots & one has a small chip near the middle. Each plate has one of the following embossed code numbers on it: CC G7, GG G7, H G7, HH G7, LL G7, E G7, DD G7, JJ G7, AA G7, I G7. SAUCERS - 7 All have a few light surface scratches. Nothing major. Each has one of these embossed numbers on it: DD G5, HH G5, M G5, GG G5, W G5, X G5. CUPS - 6 A couple have light utensil surface scratches on the Inside. The outsides are in great condition. Bottoms have some light coffee stains that could be removed with the right cleaning method/product. One has some white spots on the inside. Each cup is marked with one of these numbers: M 124, N 124, R 124, O 124. BOWLS - 13 All have minimal surface scratches. One has some discoloration on the inside. Another one has inside discoloration and chips on the outside bottom. One has a chip on the rim. 5 are faded. Damage most likely due to being put in microwave. A no no! Each bowl is also marked with one of these numbers: H1 G12, F1 G12, I1 G12, E1 G12, B1 G12, L1 G12. GRAVY - 1 Excellent condition. No scratches or wear. One tiny black dot on bottom rim. It does have an embossed number on the bottom, but I was unable to read it. GLASSES(?) - 2 Excellent condition. No scratches. A blueish tint on the inside. Both are marked E 123. DIVIDED SERVING DISH - 1 Outside excellent condition. Inside has a couple utensil scratches and an orange-ish mark where the divider attaches. Marked B 116. UNDIVIDED SERVING DISH - 1 Outside in excellent condition. Inside has a couple spots and some scratches. Texas Ware logo embossed on bottom with F in logo and 117 not in logo. SUGAR LID - 1 Excellent condition. No mark. PAYMENT Payment via eBay or PayPal is to be made within 72 hours.
