Description: We are looking to pass along my father-in-law's US Army WWII uniform. My wife has had it in her hope chest for many years, now time to pass it along to others who will value it and enjoy it instead of it being kept in a closed chest. It does have some small holes in the left sleeve (possibly moths as it was just kept in the closet at my in-laws for a long time), but all in all in very good shape. He was stationed in Alaska in the Aleutian Islands, therefore the Alaska command patch and the latest patch on the other sleeve is for the 9th Service Command (there were others prior). You will see the ruptured duck, engineers' pin (he was in an engineering unit), multiple service bars, tech corporal stripes and 4 of his 5 medal bars (American Theater, Good Conduct, American Defense, Asiatic Theater with a bronze service star. The 3 pieces are;his cap (probably a 7 1/4, it fits me and that is my hat size, and his name is in it!!)his shirt - 15 1/2, 33his jacket - 39R I will work with the buyer on preferred shipping, price does not include shipping.
