HMS Glorious; HMS Furious; HMS Eagle; HMS Ark Royal; HMS Illustrious Ref: X48-072 Scale: 1/48 Decals: The sheet contains decals for seven Fleet Air Arm (FAA) aircraft, the air arm of the Royal Navy (RN), a Gloster Sea Gladiator Mk.I serving with 802 Naval Air Squadron (NAS) serving aboard HMS Glorious, a Sea Gladiator Mk.I serving with 804 NAS aboard HMS Furious, a Sea Gladiator Mk.I serving with 813 NAS aboard HMS Eagle, a Fairey Fulmar Mk.I serving with 803 NAS aboard HMS Ark Royal, two versions of Blackburn Skua serving with 806 NAS aboard HMS Illustrious and a Skua serving with 800 NAS aboard HMS Ark Royal. Includes Black serial numbers for all three aircraft types, Black, Yellow and Black outlined in White aircraft codes in several styles, nose art in the form of a Black phoenix on either Yellow or Sliver background for the 804 NAS Sea Gladiator, pre-World War II (WW II) 802 NAS aircraft markings in the form of wide two part Yellow chevrons for the fuselage and large Yellow diamonds bordered by narrow Yellow strips for the upper wing surfaces, type A1, type A and type B roundels for the fuselage and upper and lower wing surfaces of all three aircraft types and large fin flashes for the rudder surfaces of all three aircraft types.There are sufficient decals to complete one Sea Gladiator, one Fulmar and one Skua aircraft from the sheet. The pre-WWII 802 NAS Sea Gladiator is finished in Sliver dope overall with Black tail surfaces. The two other Sea Gladiators are finished in Dark Slate Grey and Extra Dark Sea Grey (EDSG) uppers over Sky Grey fuselage sides and tail surfaces with half Black and half White lower wing surfaces. The earlier version of the 806 NAS Skua is finished in Dark Slate Grey and EDSG uppers over Sky Grey fuselage sides and tail surfaces with half Black and half White lower wing surfaces. The later version of the 806 NAS Skua is finished in Dark Slate Grey and EDSG uppers over Sky Grey fuselage sides, tail and lower wing surfaces. The 800 NAS Skua is finished in Dark Slate Grey and EDSG uppers over Sky Grey fuselage sides and tail surfaces and Sky lower wing surfaces.
